Pennies for Patients Fundraiser

Pennies For Patients Annual Fundraiser

This year our wonderful National Elementary Honors Society (NEHS) has added a few opportunities to grow our donation money! This fundraiser supports the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society:)

We are collecting money (change) to add to our Classroom Pennies for Patient Box!

At lunch on Thurs & Fri. of both weeks we will be selling loom bracelets for 25 cents each.

The next two Thurs. will be Wii Dance Nights ($1 donation and permission slip coming).

K-3 on the 12^th

4-6 on the 19^th

The week of the March 16^th will be “Spring Fever Week”

Monday-Nerd Day

Tuesday-Hat Day

Wednesday-Team Day

Thursday-Crazy Socks Day

Friday-Face Painting Day

On Friday NEHS students will be around to lightly paint faces.

Each day a $1 donation would be great, but if the kids dress up without a donation that is fine.

I am excited to see how the HOOSIERS show the pillar of CARING!

Word Study Answer Sorts

In order to practice understanding our Word Sort Patterns for the week the students engaged in

Word Races to see who could sort their words the fastest!

Save The Sea Turtles Fundraiser!

Two Hoosier students whom are very passionate about saving the Sea Turtle are putting on a fundraiser to donate to a Sea Turtle Donation Website! They presented PowerPoints that educated their fellow 4th grade classmates about sea turtles and also let them know how their donations would be used to help the sea turtles!

On Friday, March 13th the 4th graders may donate $1.00 to wear sunglasses to support keeping sea turtles safe!
