Hoosiers were hard at work this past eLearning day! I have the proof:) Thank you to the students and parents for making elearning such a success! I know it is not easy for everybody, but I do think that eLearning days allow for students to continue strengthening their reading, writing, and math skills, as well as, shows us as parents the activities and content that our kids work so hard on every school day!

Kendallville Public Library Author Visit: Adam Gidwitz
We got to meet a real life author!
Adam Gidwitz wrote the book series...
A Tale Dark and Grimm!
We learned that writers write, and if you don't have a writing idea, then steal one! Ha! Actually...just use other's ideas as mentors:)

Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. & His Message
On this wonderful Martin Luther King Jr. Day... Miss Shelby Carmichael (2014 Miss Limberlost) discussed with us about being a person of character and following your dreams. Several students were able to share their own dreams! We continued our discussion on how people should and should not be judged and read about Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream Speech." Ask your child how they believe a person should be judged!
