Collecting, Organizing, & Analyzing Data

We collected data about our head sizes,
organized it on a Bar Graph, and analyzed it!
Ask your child how big their head was:)

Native American's of Indiana Artifacts

We have been and will continue to learn about the Native American's of Indiana! On Friday the students explored artifacts from the Native American Miami Tribe!  They read informational passages, took notes, and observed all the artifacts displayed.  There were also photographs to observe!  Ask your child what their favorite artifact or picture was and why!

1st Grade Buddies

The other week we met our 1st grade buddies!  We were super excited to meet them and had a lot of fun reading their favorite books with them:) We will be meeting with our buddies throughout the school year to read with them, work on projects, and more!  By having buddies the kids get a chance to impact a younger child's life and realize that they are a role model!  I think this is such an important lesson for the students to learn in helping them shape themselves into a responsible and caring individuals!

ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Mrs Smith and I were challenged to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge last week by Mrs. Carroll!  We completed the challenge in front of the entire 4th grade:) and made sure we donated towards the worthy cause!
